Silver baskets of white spray and button chrysanthemums were interspersed with palms and ferns to form a lovely setting in First Presbyterian Church, Regina, Wednesday afternoon for the marriage of Marijean Campbell and George Edwin Little. R.C.A.M.C. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs W. J. Campbell, Rae Street, and the groom is a son of Dr. E. L. Little and Mrs. Little of Grand Prairie. Alberta.
Rev. N. D. Kennedy performed the ceremony and Mrs. Kennedy played the wedding music. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an attractively fashioned wedding gown of ivory satin with sweetheart neckline and full skirt trimmed with lover's bows. Her chapel veil, flowing from a Queen Anne headdress, was edged with lace. She carried a shower bouquet of white spray and button chrysanthemums with streamers of the tiny blossoms.
Mrs. Norman G Baker was matron of honor and Miss Etholeen Williams, bridesmaid. Best man was Norman G. Baker and ushers were classmates of the groom. Donald McEwen. R.C.A.M.C, and Fred Walsh. R.C.A.M.C.
A reception was held In the Blue Room of the Hotel Saskatchewan where the parents of the bride and groom received with the wedding party. Baskets of fall blossoms, gifts to the bride, graced the room and the table centred with a wedding cake was adorned with silver vases of white spray and button chrysanthemum and Ivory tapers in silver candelabra. Mrs. A. J. Hosie and Mrs. W. C. Owens, of Winnipeg, were Invited to perform the honors. Assisting in seeing to the guests' pleasure were: Mrs. Jack Houston, Mrs. Bert McGillivray, Mrs. George Walker, Mrs. Jack Thomas, Mrs. Donald McEwen, Miss Margaret MacMillan of Saskatoon, Miss Helen Drope and Miss Peggy Scrimes. Rev. Mr. Kennedy proposed a toast to the bride.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Vancouver, the bride travelling in a three-piece spruce green suit and a rose sweater and a spruce green hat. She wore a corsage of carnations, emblem flower of the Gamma Phi sorority of which she is a member. For the time being they will reside In Vancouver.
Out-of-town guests at the wedding were: Dr. Little and Mrs. Little, Grand Prairie; F. R. MacMillan and Miss Margaret MacMillan, Saskatoon: Mrs. Owens, Winnipeg.
