  	Gary Thiemens Spokane Interment service for Gaiy E. Thiemens is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Memorial Park. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Doctors Building Chapel, Sixth floor. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Thiemens, 39, died Wednesday. Bom in Spokane, he graduated from Washington State University College of Pharmacy in 1977. He returned to Spokane 14 years ago. Mr. Thiemens was a member of the Washington State University Cougar Club and was past president of the Spokane Pharmacist Association in 1991. He was also a member of the Washington State Pharmacist Association and served on the Board of Managers from 1992 to 1993. He was active in the political activities of his profession and served as a member of the Washington State University College of Pharmacy Alumni Advisory Board. Mr. Thiemens was a recipient of the Merk Sharp and Dohme Pharmacist Achievement Award in 199L He was a former member of the Coeur dAlene and Spokane South East Lion Cubs and was a member of the American Cancer Society Professional Education Committee. He was also a member of the Hamblen Park Presbyterian Church and Choir. Survivors include his wife, Kim (Jennings) Thiemens, at the home; a son, Andrew P. Thiemens, at the home; a daughter, Megan E. Thiemens, at the home; his mother, Merle Thiemens of Palm Springs, Calif.; a . brother, Alan Thiemens of Edmonds, Wash.; and two sisters, Susan Bombardt of Hopkins, Mich., and Kathy Walker of Lafeyette, Calif. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Dr. Mithcell Burger Fund for Nero-Oncology Research Childrens Hospital and Medical Center, 4800 Sandpoint Way, N.E. Seattle, 98105.
