  	Goodridge-Ferrier Traditional holiday hues of scarlet and white were reflected in the blossoms used as decor and in the gowns worn by the bridal entourage at the wedding Saturday evening in Renfrew United Church. Principals were Marlene Patricia Ferrier, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Sanderson Rushton of North Burnaby, and William George Goodridge, Son of Mrs. Goodridge and the late Mr. William Goodridge. Candlelight glowed from tall tapers on the scene when Rev. C. O. Richmond officiated at the double ring ceremony. Of pure silk organza was the bridal gown, the tucked bodice enhanced with Swiss eyelet embroidery about the bateau neckline, and the full crinolined skirt, banded in tucked organza held by lace appliques, went to chapel train. A jewelled tiara caught the chapel veiling. The bride's stepfather gave her In marriage. Miss Lauretta Ferrier, Miss Sonja Froseth and Miss Gail Godson were bridal attendants in princess frocks of red brocaded satin, their headdresses being of matching red satin bows. Mr. Don Ford was best man and ushering were Mr. Don Norman and Mr. Gary Davis. Following the reception at Hoyer's the couple left for a honeymoon to Oregon.
