  	Mary L. Benson Mary Louise Benson, 66, of Cambria, died Friday, Dec. 26, 1986, in a San Luis Obispo hospital. A rosary will be recited at 8 pm today in the Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Cambria. The Rev. James Sweeney will officiate. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 am Tuesday at the same church. Mrs. Benson was born Nov 29, 1920, in Grand Oaks, N.D. She graduated from the College of St Catherines, St. Paul, Minn, with a degree in nutrition. In May of 1945, she married Myron Benson and moved to West Los Angeles. He preceded her in death in 1969. She was a homemaker throughout her adult life, and took great pleasure in cooking for her family being especially accomplished in gourmet baking. She came to Cambria in 1975 to be near her family. She was a very active member of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church. She is survived by one son, George Benson of Cambria; one brother, George Colborn of McHenry, IL; one sister, Jeanne Erickson of Minnesota; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
