Mrs. Luther-Cole was born Tonya J. Sexton on Jan. 7, 1942, at Independence. She was a registered nurse at Westview Manor Nursing Home, Derby.

Tonya married Donald HAys and had two sons, Later adopted by Logan. She was preceeded in death by Logan Luther and a soon, Kevin Luther. Her father also preceeded her in death. Her mother died in 2008 in Oklahoma, near Tonyas twin and her husband.

Tonyas twin is still living as are her siblings, a brother and a siter, both younger. I am the youngest sister.

Tonya was affectionally known as Tony by us, Tonya to the world. She has three living sons and all are married. At her death they all lived in Kansas. She has Jake, Tara, Cody,and Tiffany from these sons aa well as Tessa. Tessa has a daughter. Since moving to Texas I have lost contact with them.
Tonya was always giving and helping her kids, grandkids, myself, and others, especially children. We often cooked or sewed and taught them crafts they could do. Together we took them to shows, church, and shopping.
Tonya, you are missed!

Kevin D. Luther was born December 3, 1959 at Neodesha the son of Logan and Tonya Luther. He died October 6, 1993 in Salina.
Mr. Luther worked as an auto mechanic and for Tony's Pizza. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Wichita.
Inurnment services were held on October 9 at Highland Cemetery in Minneapolis.
