    Little boy Killed

The two year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Clark Heald, who live in the Lamar neighborhood, was kicked in the abdomen by a horse last Saturday. The little boy was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital at Concordia and an examination showed that the intestines had been ruptured. An operation was performed but the boy died Sunday night.

John Gilmour Heald was born Jan. 21, 1918, and was called to his heavenly home, June 13, 1920, aged two years, four months and twenty-three days. He was the youngest son of Clark G. and Zella Lewis Heald.

Besides the parents, he leaves three brothers, Clark L., Donald W. and Gilbert E. Heald, aged respectively, 11, 7 and 4 years; two grandparents and many other relatives to mourn his loss.

Funeral services were held at Mt. Liberty church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Hill, and interment was made in the cemetery at that place. We shall miss him, Oh, so much! But we know that he is safe with Jesus.
