    Died:
    Talcottville: Mrs. Charlotte W. Colton, 71, wife of William L. Colton, died yesterday in Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville.
    She was born in Germantown, N.Y., daughter of Frank and Alida Coons Woodward. Her early life was spent in Germantown where she attended school. She was employed in New York City for six years before her marriage to Mr. Colton, in 1917, in Weehawken, N.J. The couple purchased the General Merriam homestead near here in 1919. They conducted a dairy and maple syrup business. Mrs. Colton was a member of Boonville Presbyterian Church.
    Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ambrose (Frances) Bailey and a son, Donald, both of Talcottville; two brothers, Fred Woodward, Poughkeepsie and John Woodward, Pine Plains, and a sister Mrs. Mary Kline, Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
    The funeral will be at 2 Friday from the Trainor Funeral Home, Boonville, with the Rev. Irving F. Beal, pastor of Boonville Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Talcottville Cemetery.
