    Entered into rest suddenly at the Ottawa General Hospital on Saturday, April 10, 2009 at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Richard James Lake. Cherished mother of the late David Lake, Christine Decoff (Ron), William "Bill" Lake (Nicola), Michael Lake, Richard Lake (Donna) and Joseph Sebastian Lake (Danielle). Loving grandmother of Ayla, Camden, Tylor, Travis, Christopher, Stephen, Timothy, David, and Elizabeth. Also survived by 2 great grandchildren; 3 sisters Jeannie, Ginger and Cathy; a brother George and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Doris Shea; an infant sister Elizabeth and by her son-in-law Roger Elliott.

    Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 11am until 1 pm when a service in celebration of Barbara's life will be held in the chapel. Cremation will follow at the Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland. Donations to a Charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
