Died:
Clarice A. Wold Haugen, 85 formerly of Strathcona, died Saturday, February 16, 2002.
Services were held Thursday, Feb 21 at 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids with Rev. John Kerr officiating. Casket bearers were Jim Dostal, Scot Eidness, Merle Wold, Kelvin Wold, Randy Wold and Jay Wold. Keith Jarolimek was the honorary casket bearers.
A graveside service and interment took place at Strathcona on Sunday, Feb 24. Gearhart Chapel of Coon Rapids was in charge of the arrangements.
Clarice A Syverson was born on Nov.26, 1916 in East Park Township, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Underdahl) Syverson. She was a longtime member of Gustav Adolph Church in Strathcona.
Clarice married Helmer Wold and the couple farmed near Strathcona. After Helmer's death, she moved to the Twin Cities. in 1967, she married Clifford Haugen and they made their home in Anoka. Clifford died in 1996.
Clarice is survived by a daughter Rachel (John) Nelson of Blaine: Daughter-in-law Gretchen Wold of Detroit Lakes, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren: the Clifford Haugen family, special friend, Gary Nepstad: and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Harold Wold, her parents, 2 brothers, Emil and Lenord and a sister Clara.

Family/Spouse: Helmer Wold. Helmer (son of Herman Erick Wold) was born on 4 Feb 1906 in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States; died on 1 Oct 1963 in Roseau County, Minnesota, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Clarice married Clifford Milton Ambrose Haugen in 1967. Clifford was born in 1904; died in 1996. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
