    JEAN MATHER Thirty-five year volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society, Etobicoke and Mississauga Branches Peacefully following a lengthy illness at Empress Gardens, Peterborough, on Sunday, August 9, 2015 in her 87th year. Jean, beloved wife of 68 years to Gordon. Loving and devoted mother to Catherine Berges and her husband Paul of Peterborough and Robert and his wife Lynda of Annapolis, Maryland. Cherished grandmother of Harrison and Tory Mather; Sarah Lafleche (Tim Lacey) and Jonathan Berges (April Hazan) and proud great-grandmother of Madeleine and Alexandre Lafleche; and Levi and Beau Berges. Survived by sister Shirley Booth and predeceased by her brother Stephen Phillips. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Road, on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Service in the Highland Chapel at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend James Merrett officiating. Interment Highland Park Cemetery followed by a reception in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Jean, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
