    The death occurred in Elrose Hospital on Friday November --, of Mary Gertrude, beloved wife of Leslie Ferrier, of the Belvoir district. She was sixty-seven years of age.
    Born in Perth Ontario, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. George Oliver, she spent the early years of her life there. On February 21, 1917 she was married there to Mr. Leslie Fisher Ferrier, who had homesteaded in the Belvoir District along with her father and she returned with him to the farm where they resided until the present time. She was always of a quiet disposition and was very fond of her home life. There remains to mourn her, besides her husband, two sons, Kenneth of Longueuil Quebec and John of Mosart Saskatchewan and one daughter (Alice) Mrs. S. Carnegie of McLaughlin Alberta. There are two grandchildren. Two brothers, George W. and T.C. Oliver reside in the Wartime district.
    Funeral service was held in Wartime United Church on Monday November 5th at 1:30pm with the Rev. R.R. Smith of Alrose officiating. Miss Ethel Kelso was at the organ and hymns sung by the congregation were "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", "Rock of Ages" and "Jesus Lover of Our Soul". Mr. G.V. Wiggins was the usher in the church.
    Interment was made in the family plot, Greenan Cemetery with the following acting pallbeareres: F. Carr, A. Moore, I. Adsen, E. Croskery, F. Moore, G. Gilchrist. Glower bearers were: H. Gilchrist and G. Sinclair.

    Mary married Leslie Fisher Ferrier on 21 Feb 1917 in Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. Leslie (son of John Fisher Ferrier and Alice Charlotte Margaret Poole) was born on 23 Apr 1891 in Burgess North Twp, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 16 Jul 1959 in Belvoir, Saskatchewan, Canada; was buried on 18 Jul 1959 in Greenan Cemetery, Swift Current Census Division, Saskatchewan, Canada.     ?/u??/i?Memorial Service for the late Alice Gertrude Carnegie age 77, beloved wife of Mr. Sid Carnegie of Dinsmore, SK will be held Saturday January 26, 2002 at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Clements' Rosetown Funeral Home, Rosetown. The Reverend Jo-Ann Hills officiating. Memorial donations may be directed to the Alzheimer Society or Dinsmore Health Care Centre. Clements' Rosetown Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
