    Obituary of PAUL BYCHUK
    PAUL BYCHUK
    Peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital, Paul Bychuk passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the age of 90. He was the last surviving member of his family.

    He leaves to mourn his wife Annette, son Paul (Diane), daughters Paula (Walter) and Debra (Roman), grandchildren Jennifer (Jeremy), Lauren (Malcolm), Sebastian (Susan), Diane Lynn, Cindy, Tammy, great grandchildren Alexa, Justin, Jessica and Jacqueline.

    Paul met his wife Annette through a series of love letters during the war and they were married January 7, 1945. They moved to Red Lake, Ontario where they operated a laundry for several years. They then chose Winnipeg to raise their family.

    Paul worked at Trimac as a heavy-duty mechanic for 25 years. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandpa was a master craftsman and at the age of 70 built his retirement cabin by himself "How sweet it is". Ill health slowed him but his sense of humour never failed. He was always "takin' care of business"; and assured everyone that "a bird cannot fly on one wing";

    The family wishes to thank Dr. Tsang as well as the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital 5U7 for their care and compassion.

    In respecting Paul's wishes there will be no formal funeral. Cremation has taken place.

    In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.

    Paul married Annette Smith on 7 Jan 1945. Annette (daughter of Living and Katherine) was born on 24 Apr 1924 in Kilkenny, Manitoba, Canada; died on 5 Nov 2011; was buried in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, West St Paul, Selkirk Census Division, Manitoba, Canada. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
