    Died:
    John William Buchko, 77, of 4321 Terrace Drive died at 11:04 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 1998, at his home.

    Born Dec. 2, 1920, in Ironwood, Mich., to Arthur and Elsie Baird Buchko, he married Mary Proehl on Aug. 2, 1941, in Chicago. She survives.

    Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Marilyn) Hutton of Elmwood; one brother, Arthur of Battle Creek, Mich.; two sisters, Katherine Hanson of Saltan, Wash., and Gertrude Postill of Gulfport, Miss.; two grandchildren, Timothy Hutton of Peoria and Mrs. Patrick (Dawn) Nichting of Peoria, who took care of him; and six great-grandchildren.

    Four brothers preceded him in death.

    A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4999 and American Legion Post 9. He was a foreman at LeTourneau Westinghouse for many years until retiring.

    He was a Shriner and a member of Creve Coeur Masonic Lodge 1170, AF&AM. Services will be at noon Friday at Weber Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour earlier. Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chillicothe City Cemetery.

    Died:
    Patric H. Buchko, 64, Blue Springs, MO, passed away at his home April 27, 2006. Cremation. Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Saturday May 6, 2006 at Discovery Church 1206 Pavillion Court Grain Valley, MO. Memorial service will follow at the church at 2 p.m.

    Memorial contributions may be made to K.C. Hospice. Patric was born June 24, 1941 in Texas. He was adopted at age 3 by James and Hazel (Williams) Buchko. He was a manager for Premier Pest Control until his retirement in 2003. He was a Mason in Carthage, Missouri. He was involved with the Valley Speedway of Grain Valley and the Grand River Speedway of Urich. He enjoyed motorcycles, square dancing, and working with Llamas.

    He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Ruth Blanton. Survivors include his wife Sharon N. Buchko of the home; children, James & Evelyn Buchko, Brent Harper, Kathryn & Robert Hensen, and Christopher Harper; brother William Buchko and Linda Boen; mother, Hazel Buchko, and motherin-law, Grace Scott; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

    Billy Buchko, 69, of Imperial passed away Sunday, February 28.

    He was born March 28, 1940.

    A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Ron Griffen officiating.

    He was preceded in death his father, James Buchko; sister, Ruth Blanchard; and brother, Patrick Buchko.

    Billy is survived by his mother, Hazel Buchko, sister, Linda Boen, both of Missouri; sons, Tony Buchko of Duncan, OK, Bo Cox and Jerry Cox of Meeker, CO; and best friend, J.D. Patton.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 312 S. 8th St. in El Centro or The Humane Society of Imperial County.

    Marilyn A. Hutton, 78, of Peoria passed away at 3:07pm Monday, July 18, 2016, at her residence, with family by her side.

    She was born on April 19, 1938, in Chicago, the daughter of the late John and Mary Proehl Buchko. She married Gary K. Hutton on June 8, 1956, in Peoria.

    Surviving are her husband, one son Tim (DeAnna) Hutton of Peoria and their children Ryan and Robert, and one daughter Dawn Niching of Elmwood and her children Brittany (David) Beck, Kristen, Jamie and Patrick John Nichting. Also surviving is one great granddaughter, Braelynn Beck.

    Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6pm Monday, July 25, 2016, at Bethany Baptist Church in Edwards. Dr. Ritch Boerckel officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Bethany Baptist Church Missions Fund. Mason-White Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements, and notes of condolences may be sent using www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
