    Robert H. Matthews Dies in Denver
    Pierpont March 29 [1944]

    Robert H. Matthews, 64, a native of this vicinity, died March 1 at a h ospital in Denver, Colo., it has been learned by friends here.

    Mr. Matthews had lived for the past 40 years in Denver. He haad visited frequently in Conneaut and Kingsville. He would have retired in September from the employ of the Burlington railroad Co.

    Surviving are his wife, Bessie; three daughters, and one son in California; two sisters, Mrs Mable Klane, Geneva, and Mrs Annette Strickland, Warren.

    Funeral services were held in Denver and the body was taken to California for burial. Services were held ther at teh "Wee Kirk O' the Heather". Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Cal.

    Robert married Harriet Adriene Crismon in 1902. Harriet (daughter of Hugh Crismon) was born on 4 Dec 1883; died on 14 Mar 1968; was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
