Peacefully at Lanark Lodge, Perth on Friday, June 24, 2005, Laura M. (Cameron) Armstrong in her 101st year. Laura was predeceased by her husband Francis "Frank" J. Armstrong; she was the loved mother of Cameron and his wife Betty Armstrong of Perth, grandmother of Alan (Cynthia) Armstrong and their children Damian and Christian of Kanata and Vicky (George) Tutt of Calgary; she was predeceased by sisters Effie Strong, Irene Anderson, Alice McVeigh and Dorcas Bresee and brothers Bower, Lloyd and Tom Cameron. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends were received at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, Perth, Sunday, June 26. Funeral service was held in the chapel Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.

Francis (son of John Henry Armstrong and Sarah Matilda Tetlock) was born on 6 Sep 1903 in Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 26 Nov 1955 in Drummond Twp, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
