    Died:
    Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Anderson Funeral home for Mary T. Gilpin who passed away Jan. 8 in Minneapolis. Rev. Edwin C. Johnson officiated. Pallbearers were F. C. Oppel, R. J. Merki, Hugh Robards, A. A. Secord, Julian Fitzgerald and Harlan Campbell. Interment was made in the family lot at Kinkead cemetery.
    Miss Gilpin was born in Alexandria on June 3, 1874, he daughter of Joseph and Sarah Gilpin. She attended the Alexandria high school and received further education at Moorhead Teachers college and Carleton college.
    Following graduation she taught school at Fertile, Minn., Lakota and Wahpeton, N.D., and Hopkins. She retired from teaching some years ago and since has lived with her sister, Mrs. Walter Fredenburg, in Minneapolis.
    She passed away Jan. 8 at Deaconess hospital in Minneapolis at the age of 75 years.
