    Peacefully at Perth on Wednesday November 18th, 2009. Doug was the owner of Cavers Jewellers and Mills China and Gift Shop, a veteran of WWII, and long time member of the True Britons Masonic Lodge of Perth; as a long time member and Past President of the Perth Rotary Club, he was honoured with a Paul Harris Award for outstanding dedication and service. Doug will be sadly missed by Flo, his beloved wife of 62 years, his son Peter and his brother Kenneth (Grace) Cavers. He was predeceased by his parents James Cavers and May Campbell and his brother Arthur (late Collette) Cavers. Doug will be fondly remembered by Krista (Zeff) Bernstien and their daughter Jaela, all his family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Friday November 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital, Perth or the Lanark County Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
