GRYKULIAK, Mona Rose (nee Smith)
It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our mother and grandmother- Mona Rose Grykuliak, who passed away October 26, 2019 at the age of 88. Mona was born on February 24, 1931 in Edmonton, Alberta. She will be forever remembered by her son Allan (Debby); daughters Karen (Terry), Lori and Shelly; grandchildren Jeff, Scott, Kaitlin (Erich), Emily, Shaun, Mackenzie, Chloe, Gabby, and other extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents Wilhelmina Katarina Lundgren and Ralph Smith, father of her children Paul Grykuliak, brother Leroy Elsworth "Al" Smith, sister Kathleen Mae MacLeod and twin sister Donna June Smith. As per the request of Mona, there will be no funeral service; she will be cremated and later interred with her sister Donna Smith in Calgary. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Jubilee Nursing Home (3rd floor) who cared so much for Mona during her short time there.
