JAMES A. MOODIE
James A. Moodie, well-known employe of the O. E. R. died yesterday at a local hospital following an illness of several months.
Born at Lime Bank, 52 years ago, he came to Ottawa about 12 years ago, and had been employed as a motorman with the O.E.R. ever since. He was a member of the Glebe United Church.
Left to mourn his passing are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Moodie, Manotick, his widow, formerly Louise Johnston, a daughter, Miss Campbelline Moodie of Ottawa; two brothers, Allan and Ernest, of Lime Bank, five sisters, Mrs. James Rowatt, Rideau View; Mrs. Robert Gamble, Lime Bank; Mrs. M. Pettapiece, Winnipeg; Mrs. J. J. Watterson, Ottawa, and Miss Lulu Moodie, Manotick.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from his home, 12 Rupert street, at two o'clock. Interment will take place at Johnston's Corners Cemetery.
