KAHL, Eunice (nee Krieger) - Peacefully at Marianhill Residence, with her family at her side on Sunday morning February 27, 2011 in her 79th year. Eunice Kahl (nee Krieger) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Gordon Kahl. Loved and cherished mother of Jo-Ann Pettigrew (John), Lisa Kahl, Michael Kahl (Karina), Tracey Kahl and Jason Kahl, all of Pembroke. Loving grandmother of Corey, MacKenzie and Halie. Daughter of the late William and Louise (nee Jessup) Krieger. Dear sister of Vern Krieger, Parry Sound and Rodney Krieger (Margaret), Pembroke, and the late Vivian Budarick (late Alfred), Eileen Krasko (late John), Hazel Wasmund, Lorain (Bud) Krieger, Dwayne Krieger, Willis Krieger and Mervin Krieger. Sister-in-law of Lawrence (Jim) Wasmund, Arlene Krieger, Eva Krieger and Marlene Krieger. Eunice will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to share their memories of Eunice with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. A service to give thanks for Eunice's life will be held on Wednesday morning March 2 at 11 o'clock in Zion Evangelical United Church, Miller Street, Pembroke, followed by cremation. Spring interment at St. Columba's Cemetery. In memory of Eunice donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
