Mrs John Jackman
In the decease of Mrs. John Jackman, 2nd line of Bathurst, that township loses a lifelong resident. About eleven weeks ago Mrs. Jackman fell and broke her hip, causing her to take to her bed with a shattered system. Release came to her suffering on Monday when she departed this life.

Deceased. whose maiden name was Mary Farrell, was 80 years of age and lived on the homestead for forty-one years. Besides Mr. John Jackman who lives on the homestead, she leaves another son, Mr. G.A. Jackman, town. Her husband died about 18 years ago. Deceased wa of a kindly disposition and greeted all with a hearty welcome.

The funeral took place from the homestead to St. John's Church, thence to the Catholic cemetery for burial. Beteen 80 and 100 carriages followed the remains to the church and cemetery.
