    At home on September 24, 2013 with family by her side in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Wm. Nelson Harrison (2006). Loving mother of Jill Nichol (Kevin) of Tecumseh, ON and Catherine Harrison Thomson (Kirk) of London.

    Dear Stepmother to Stephen (Vicki), Allan, Jeff (Donna) Harrison and Debby Wood. Cherished grandmother to Harrison and William Nichol, Erin Harrison Levi, Gary and Richard Krezanowski and Marlee Harrison. Predeceased by granddaughter Laura Nichol, great-grandson Asher Duncan, daughter-in-law Lori Watt, brothers Chesley (1997), Harold (1997) and sister Nina (1985). Marie will be missed by her many loving nieces and nephews and an extensive network of friends.

    Marie was born in Woodstock, Ontario to the late Louis and Elsie (Burry) Burton. After raising her children, Marie returned to work managing the Canadian office for Dr. Graham's Homes, a school for Anglo-Indian children in India. Marie was a gifted painter, avid reader and lifelong learner. She participated in The American Association of Parliamentarians, Toastmistress International and was an active member of Metropolitan United Church. Cremation has taken place. T

    The family will be At Home to visitors on Friday, October 4 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at 7191 Clayton Walk. Funeral Service on Saturday, October 5 at 1pm at Metropolitan United Church, London, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy and donations to the London Health Science Foundation, London Regional Cancer Clinic or Music Program at Metropolitan United Church may be made through London Cremation Services (519) 672-0459 or online at www.londoncremation.com. Special thanks to Dr. Logan and staff at LRCP, Dr. Nancy Moser, Dr. Kirk Hamilton and Victoria Pastorius, RN for their excellent care and for facilitating Marie's wish to die at home.
