Mary Jane would have been my Grand mother. My mother's name was Marion Lake.

I honestly don't know really anything about my family history. My dad's parents died like I mentioned, well before I was born, and all my dad's siblings were broken up and taken in by different families.

Forbes was the adoptive name. I am not sure if my biological grandparents were siblings of Mary Jane or not. The biological last name was Amell (not 100% sure on the spelling )

Very interesting. Those would be my adopted Grandparents. My Dad (Carman) lost his biological mother and father to the plague, or some kind of epidemic of the time, and was taken in by the Forbes'. Thanks for reaching out!

Parents of Carman Forbes were Stewart Elmer Forbes and Mary Jane "Minnie" Mather; Barbara, Nancy and David Forbes are showing up as third cousins in my tree.
