    Honor Late Trainman At Funeral in Perth
    Duncan W. Park Served C. P.R. 47 Years
    PERTH, Ont.. April 19
    The funeral of Duncan W. Park, who passed away in Toronto on Thursday was held this afternoon from the funeral home of Alex Blair and Son. Interment was In Elmwood cemetery.

    Deceased was born In Dalhousie township 73 years ago, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert (sic) Park. For 47 years he was employed as a trainman with the CPR and before coming to Perth In 1919 as a conductor on the Perth-Montreal local on the Toronto-Montreal passenger run. In 1927 he was superannuated and continued to reside in Perth. During the past few years deceased travelled extensively to warmer climates during the winter months.

    His wife, who was Miss Alice Wright of North Bay, predeceased him three years ago.

    Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Walen, Detroit: one sister, Mrs. Agnes Myrtle Williams, Toronto; two brothers, Hugh Allan Park, Winnipeg, and Edward Park, 2 Somerset street west, Ottawa.

    The pallbearers were W. J. Warren. L. J. Dowdall. Fred Ferguson, Perth, Robert Carvill, Massena. NY, George Holly, Ottawa, and James Park, Dalhousie. Among the relatives from a distance attending the funeral were Edward Park. Ottawa: Mrs. Eva Ellis. Westboro; Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Carvill, Massena. N T.; George Holly. Ottawa, and Mrs. Joseph Walen, Detroit. A number of C.P.R. officials from Montreal. Ottawa and Smiths Falls attended the funeral The funeral services were conducted by Rev. H. A. Berus of St. Andrew's Presbyterian church.
