Powassan
A lifelong resident of Powassan, Eric Randolph Briggs, Hwy. 11-N, died suddenly at his home Sunday. Mr. Briggs, 50, was maintenance operator for the Department of Transport at North Bay.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects at teh Paul Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted by Rev. D.L. Woodward Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Powassan Union Cemetery.
Born at Powassan June 10, 1917, Mr. Briggs was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Briggs of Powassan. He received his educaation at Maple Hill School and Powassan. His marriage to the former Alice Barber took place at Nipissing Village in 1942.
Mr. Briggs is a veteran of overseas service with the Canadian Army Medial Corps during the second World War.
