    Tribute: Long-time and well known resident, passed away peacefully with family and friend at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, July 25th. 2006. Marion Florence Howison of Brockville in her 104th. year. Beloved sister of Helen M. Howison of Brockville. Daughter of the late George Charles Howison and his wife Florence Harriett Gibbins Howison. Survived by several nieces and nephews, including George Howison of Brockville, Rosemary Purdy of London, John Howison and his wife Anne of Brockville, Judy Johnston and her husband Dick of Rockport, Sharron Vander Meer of Brockville and Florence Bolton and her husband Wayne of Hamilton. Also survived by very dear friends Val and Dr. Don Smylie and Gerry Northrup, all of Brockville. Predeceased by brothers Gibbins, Gordon, Arthur, Harold and John Howison, a sister Edyth Howison and sisters-in-law Opal and Iva Howison.

    Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 28th. 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the C.N.I.B., Hospice of Providence Palliative Care, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

Beloved daughter of George and Florence (Gibbins) Howison. Loving aunt of George Howison of Brockville, John Howison (Anne) of Mallorytown, Judy Johnston (Dick) of Rockport and Florence Bolton of Hamilton. Also a dear friend Val Smylie of Brockville. Predeceased by sisters Edyth and Marion Howison and brothers Gibbins (Opal), Gordon (Lillian), Arthur (Iva), Harold and John Howison. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home , 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday October 28th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.     PURDY, Rosemary Florence
    Suddenly at University Hospital, London on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in her 70th year. Loving mother of Sean Purdy of London. Beloved sister of George Howison of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her cousins, John Howison and his wife Anne, Judy Johnston and her husband Richard and their families and by many dear friends and acquaintances. Rosemary was an elementary school teacher for many years in Newmarket and London. She was a member of Oxwell, Horton Street Seniors, and the Red Hat Society. Rosemary enjoyed traveling and her involvement with the Church of St. John the Evangelist. Friends may call on Friday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, London. A memorial service will be conducted at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 280 St. James Street at Wellington, London on Saturday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with interment in Brockville. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged.
