Notes:
Died:
Early Monday morning, Paul Nichols passed away peacefully at the Civic Hospital. With broken hearts we find solace remembering and embracing the joy and smiles that Paul brought to so many. Paul lived every moment to the maximum with his boundless energy, his jokes, his thoughtfulness, his ability to connect with anyone, his hard work, his love of his family, and his willingness to engage in any adventure that came his way.
Just two hours before Paul's stroke he was with his family, cheering on his grandson in the Carleton Place Santa Claus parade. Just six weeks earlier he embraced a dream backcountry canoe adventure, being dropped off by a float plane in the Northern Ontario wilderness. He was happy.
Paul is survived by his wife Robin Andrew, his children Amyko, Elijah and Tirzah, his siblings Ross, Lois Ann and Allison and his grandchildren Kaiden, Ivy, and Nova. He was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Ruth and sister Glenda.
Visitation will take place at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, in Carleton Place, on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5-8 pm, and Tuesday December 13, from 11 am ? 12 noon. The funeral service will then be held in the chapel at 12 noon and a reception will follow.
