Died:
Robert McVeigh - Following a short illness, Robert McVeigh passed away at the GWM Hospital, Perth, on May 1, 1974, in his 88th year. He was the son of the late Joseph McVeigh and his wife Jane Paul. In 1911 he married, Alice Elizabeth Cameron. Mr. McVeigh was a life-long resident of the Perth area, a blacksmith by trade and for a number of years was manager of the Bathurst Feldspar Mine. He was keenly interested in music and was well known for his accomplished violin. The funeral service was held on May 3. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery.

Peacefully, at the Carleton Place Hospital, on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert Menzies, her parents Robert and Alice McVeigh, her sister Edna Armstrong, brothers Elwin and Lloyd McVeigh and her sister-in-law Peg Andrew.

Interment beside her husband at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Innisville.
