    The death of Mrs.Audrey Gloria Adams of Glen Livit occurred on Saturday, Jan. 10th, at her home. She was 51.

    Born in Glen Levit on May 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Janie (Hennigar) Pollock.

    She was a member of the United Church and the United Church Women. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary and was active in dart competition.

    Surviving are her husband: John David Adams; four daughters: Karen Johnson of Squaw Cap, Janice LeBel of Mann's Mountain, Helen and Kim, both at home; four sons: Jim of Saskatoon, Bryce of Squaw Cap, Donald of Ottawa and John, at home, four sisters: Isabel of New York, Doreen of Victoria, Beverly-Ann of New York and Betty St. Onge of Dalhousie and one brother: Roy of Sechelt, B.C.

    Pallbearers were Jim Adams, Jim Johnson, Tom Blanchette, Rupert Lutes, Reg Pollock and Lorne Irvine. Interment was in the Glen Levit Cemetery

    We sadly announce the unexpected death of Betty who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the age of 79.

    Betty is survived by her husband Robert (Bob) St.Onge; her brother Myles Mawhinney (Glenice); her children Carla Atkinson (Rick); Lori St.Onge (John Jaszek), Greg St.Onge (Maureen), Karen St.Onge; John Fleck (Debbie); her grandchildren, Curtis McInnis (Genny); Brett McInnis (Courtenaye Shea); Samantha Harrigan (Mark), Shannon Barriault (Dustin), Danika St.Onge (Jon Van Kronenberg), Chad St.Onge, Brianna Harvey, Logan Harvey, Nick DeGrace; her great grandchildren Cohen Feindel-McInnis, Charleigh Harrigan; Harper Harrigan, Morgan Barriault, Jaxson Barriault, Kelty Vankroonenburgh, Ashley Chalifoux-DeGrace.

    Funeral mass will be held at the St. John Bosco, Dalhousie, on Tuesday, June 16 at 2pm.

    At the request of Betty, there will be no visitation.

    Doreen passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Doreen was predeceased by her mother Annie Rose Pollock, father George Arnold Pollock, brother Gordon Walker, sister Isabel and brother-in-law Jim Johnson.

    Survived by partner Ross Garrison, daughter Kelly and husband Randy Anguish, daughter Tina Dale, brother and sister-in-law Roy and Gudrun Pollock, sister and brother-in-law Betty and Bob St.Onge, sister and brother-in-law Bev and Fred Ziegler. Also survived by several more relatives and friends from BC, AB, NB, ON, New York, and US states.

    Doreen loved doing her crafts: woodworking, sewing, floral arrangement, and was very good at them all. Doreen loved her family and grandchildren. She would do anything to help anyone.

    Thank you to the doctors and nurses for making Doreen more comfortable in her final days. Doreen will be laid to rest where she grew up, in Sechelt, BC at a later date.

    In remembrance of Doreen, please donate to the charity of your choice in her name.

    Died:
    Frank Johnson died on Friday, March 28, at Fairfax Hospital, VA. Mr. Johnson who was 33 years old, was a longtime resident of Lynbrook and a graduate of Hewlett High School, Class of 1977.

    According to his mother, Isabel, Mr. Johnson received a liver transplant in Nov, 1992. "While the transplant was a success," she says, "subsequent mediation caused kidney failure, resulting in his death. I'm mentioning this to bring attention to the need for liver donors."

    Mr. Johnson was a former employee at the Nassau County Water Treatment Plant.

    Besides his mother, he is survived by his son, James, his daughter, Kelley and his sisters Audrey and Beverly. His father was the late James Johnson.

    A memorial service took place on April 4 at the Woodmere-Lawrence Methodist Church in Woodmere.

    John Douglas Adams past away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on January 29, 2014 at the age of 58. Mr. Adams, a resident of Campbellton. was the son of John (Jack) Adams of Flatlands and the late Audrey (Pollock) Adams of Glen Levit.

    John is survived by his father John (Betty), brothers Jim (Sally) of Campbellton, Bryce (Jean) of Squaw Cap and Donald (Irene) of St Stephen, sisters Karen (Burns) of Tide Head, Janice (Fernand) of Kedgwick, Helene of Toronto and Kim of BC. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

    John was predeceased by his mother Audrey, sister Carolyn Dawn, brother Frank and Nephew Ryan.

    Death again visited our vicinity and has taken in its midst Carlyn Dawne, dearly beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Adams whose death came as a shock to all. Carlyn will always be remembered in the home.

    The little girl was fourteen months old and had been a patient in the Hotel Dieu Hospital for three weeks following a serious illness all that medical skill and kind nursing could do was down without avail.

    Besides her parents she leaved to hour three brothers, James, Bryce and Donald at home.

    The funeral services was held from the home on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, confuted by the Rev. J. E. Munson, who spot in very comforting words to the family in the loss of their little one.

    Hymns sung were "Safe in the Arms f Jesus" and "When He Cometh".

    Pallbearers were David Graham, Burton Graham, Carl Myles and Keith Stewart, all cousins.

    Internment was made in the rural cemetery.

    The floral tributes were as follows; Broken Circle-Mummie, Daddy and brothers, Aunt Isabl and Uncle Jimmie, Aunt Venie. Pillow-Grandma Adams and Uncle Graham.
