Notes: Died at age 21. Three years earlier, while working at a threshing on a neighbour's farm, his left hand came in contact with the rapidly revolving cylinder of the machine. The hand and arm were drawn into the machinery and before the machinery could be turned off the arm was literally torn from the body at the shoulder. The next day his father located the hand and a portion of the arm at the rear of the machine. |
