    Robertson
    A native of Perth, and life-long resident of this town, the death occurred in the Perth Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, January 13th of Mr. James Robertson, after a lengthy period of ill-health. The late Mre. Robertson was a son of the late John Robertson and Lydia Fraser.

    Early in life he became apprenticed to the trade of a carpenter at which he was an expertr, and for many years worked with his brother, the late Mr. Alex F. Robertson. He was an industrious and hard-working citizen and greatly liked and esteemed in this community. He possessed a quiet and reserved disposition. He was a Presbyterian in religion.

    Deceased was married to Miss Jennie Malcolm, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Malcolm, town. Mrs. Robertson prececeasing her husband 35 years ago. Deceased is survived by a sister, Mrs. Hugh Hammill, of North Bay, and the following neices and nephews: Dr. Hugh Robertson and Miss Marjorie Robertson of Chippawa; Miss Alice Labron and Mrs. E.L. Fraser, of Trenton; Messrs. Alex and Kenneth Labron, of Vancouver. A sister, Mrs Labron and a brother, Mr. Alex. F. Robertson predeceased him.

    The funeral was held from Messrs. Alex Blair & Sons Funeral Parlours onFriday afternoon to Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Bunyan McLeod, minister of St. Andrew's Church, officiating at the services. The pallbearers were Messrs T.A. Poole, Thos. Oliver, Dan McParlan, Stephen Bennett, John Howie and Archie Graham. Present at the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Hammill, of North Bay; Mrs Walter Robertson, of Ottawa; Miss Labron and Mrs. Fraser, of Trenton; Dr. Robertson and Miss Robertson, of Chippawa.
