    Hazel Arlene Parrish
    Hazel A. Parrish, 76, of 1400 Poyntz Ave., died July 27 at the St. Mary Hospital.

    She was born Nov 28, 1913, on a farm near Harper, Kan. She had been a Manhattan resident since 1938. She was a homemaker.

    She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan. She was also a member of the P.E.O., La Sertoma, the Knitting Club, the T.P.M. Club and the '43 Newcomers' Club. She was a 1936 graduate of Kansas State Agricultural College.

    She was married on Aug 22, 1936, in Enterprixe, Kan., to Donald B. Parrish. He survives, of the home.

    Other survivors include one son, Robert J. Parrish, of O'Fallon, Ill.; one daughter, Joan Adams, of Montgomery, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by one son, 1st Lt. Roger A. Parrish, who was killed in an accident while serving in Vietnam in 1969, and by one brother in 1963.

    Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at the Edwards-Yorgensen-Meloan Funeral Chapel with the Rev. JOhn Stoneking officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.

    The Parrish family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 pm today at the funeral home. Friends who wish may contribute to a memorial fund of their choice in memory of Hazel A. Parrish. Contributions may be left in care of Edwards-Yorgensen-Meloan Funeral Home.
