    Peacefully on Sunday, May 4th, 2008 at Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre, Ottawa. Margaret was born at Lanark, Ontario, the second daughter of Matthew and Eulalie Tullis. Dear sister to Bessie Tullis, Evelyn Miller, Kay Mackintosh, Helen MacKechnie and brother-in-law Douglas MacKechnie. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends share in her loss. She was pre-deceased by her sister Mary Moore and brothers-in-law Cyril Moore, Douglas Mackintosh and Robert Miller. A dedicated nurse for over 40 years, Margaret worked at the Ottawa Civic and Winchester hospitals. In retirement, she was an active community volunteer for the past 27 years. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Lanark Village Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. Andrew's United Church would be appreciated.

    Peacefully at her retirement residence in Ottawa on Saturday January 29th, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Bessie was born at Lanark Ontario, the third daughter of Matthew and Eulalie (Park) Tullis. She was the dear sister of Evelyn Miller, Kay Mackintosh and Helen (Douglas) MacKechnie, greatly loved aunt to 12 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews; she will be fondly remembered by her cousins and friends who share in her loss. Bessie was predeceased by her sisters Mary Moore and Margaret Tullis and brothers-in-law Cyril Moore, Douglas Mackintosh and Robert Miller. Retired following almost 40 years with the federal public service, she was an active volunteer for over 25 years and Past President of the Lanark & District Museum and dedicated member of St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark Wednesday February 2nd, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrews United Church, Lanark Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Interment, Lanark Village Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to St. Andrews United would be appreciated.

    McFARLANE, Allan In hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at the age of 95 years. Son of the late Harry and Hannah (Tullis) McFarlane and predeceased in 1995 by his first wife Lila G. (Ferguson) McFarlane. Allan was the beloved husband of Myrtle (King) McFarlane; loved and respected father of Grant (Gail) of Prestonvale and Gordon (Myna Bhajan) of Barrie. Cherished grandfather of Heather (Santosh) Pudupakkam and their family Alexander, Matthew, Emily and William of Sudbury, Kevin (Suzanne) and their family Madeline and Gabnelle of McDonald's Corners and Michael (Tammy) and their daughter Chloe of Dartmouth. Dear brother of Henry and Mansel of Lanark, Jim (Carmel) of Estevan, Saskatchewan and the late Robert McFarlane; brother-in-law of Doris Ferrier of Mississauga. Allan will be sadly missed by Myrtle's family, Erma (Bill) Pretty, Bill King, Adeline (Jim) McCord, Carmel (Don) Wakeling, Steven (Bev) King and families, his nieces, nephews, family, friends and his musical group 'Memory Lane'.     Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Thursday, November 12th, 2009 Henry C. McFarlane at the age of 90. Predeceased in 2000 by his beloved wife Amy (Donaldson) McFarlane. Dearly loved father of Glenn (Maria) and Chris of Ottawa and Paul (Keitha) and Steve (Betsy) of Drummond Township. Cherished grandfather of Cathy (Brad) Fisk, David (Jennifer) McFarlane and their daughter Brooklyn, Debbie McFarlane (Jay Field), Krista McFarlane, Ryan McFarlane, Cindy (Dave) Brasseau and Jonathan (Krista) McFarlane and their son Aidan. Dear brother of Mansel of Rideau Ferry and Jim (Carmel) of Estevan, Saskatchewan and the late Allan (late Lila) and Robert McFarlane. Henry will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Norma Burns, sister-in-law Myrtle McFarlane, extended family Ben and Kim Lavigne, Sarah Easton and Christina Pavlides, nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. Interment, Prestonvale Cemetery followed by a reception in St. Andrew's United Church Hall. In remembrance, contributions to St. Andrew's United Church Memorial Fund or the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation, Perth would be appreciated.
