When the Upper Mississippi lumber limits passed to the Canada Lumber Company he moved to Perth and superintended the farm of his brother Peter. Family/Spouse: Annie Maria Gear. Annie was born on 13 Jul 1861 in England; died on 25 Dec 1935 in Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
