Funeral services for Keith C. Lamson of McMinnville will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors. The Rev. Jim Peterson will officiate. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in McMinnville.

Mr. Lamson died at the Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007. He was 93.

Born in Willamina on Aug. 27, 1913, he was the son of Roy B. and Margie (Barber) Lamson.

He grew up on the family farm. While in school he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball.

He lived in West Fir, near Eugene, where he worked at a mill, then returned to the farm. He loved living and working on a farm.

Mr. Lamson was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Ira, and four sisters, Ruth Wright, Dora Yocum, Geraldine McNamar and Zelda Johnson.
