    The death certificate for her daughter Clara May (Cripps) Laing shows the maiden name of her mother to be Townsend. The interview of Annie Marie's son Herbert W. Cripps in March of 2001 from Kamloops B.C. indicated that the maiden name was Townsley. A follow up with Herbert W. Cripps on March 18, 2001 confirms that the correct name is Townsley.
