Bob was brought over when he was 3 yrs old but never completely lost his accent. He had the best sense of humour & was always ready with a practical joke. He worked hard on the farm even though he was crippled with rheumatoid arthritis his whole adult life. When they bought their funeral plot he kept saying that he was going to go over & plant onions on it because it was such a waste of good farmland. A very special man.

Bob always referred to himself as the farm boy from Corbyville. His modesty was legendary. He became the Asst Superintendent of Education for the Scarborough school board & had a very successful career in education. MAny of his friends in Picton were amazed to find out about his success as he spent his retirement restoring his home & helping others do the same. He loved golfing & golfed all winter in Florida & at home all summer.
