    Died:
    Miss Essie McKerracher of 302 First Avenue, a nurse in Rochester, N.Y. for many years, died at her home Tuesday after a long illness. She was a native of Perth.

    Miss McKerracher was a registered nurse, graduating from Roosevelt Hospital in New York City in 1916. For many years she was an x-ray technician at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

    She served overseas during the First World War as a nursing sister, with the 109th Division of the Canadian Army.

    Miss McKerracher also served as an industrial nurse with Bausch and Lomb Optical Company in Rochester. She also practiced private duty nursing in Rochester.

    In Rochester, she was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. In Ottawa she attended Fourth Avenue Baptist Church.

    She was a daughter of the late William James McKerracher of McKerracher-Wanless Limited, Ottawa clothing firm, and of Marian Sinclair, who survives.

    The body is at Vetch-Draper Funeral Home, 453 Parkdale Avenue, where services will be held in the memorial chapel today at 1 p.m. Rev. E. H. Cameron of Fourth Avenue Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth.
