    JAMES SAMUEL BELL
    James Samuel Bell, for the past sixteen years a resident of North Gower township passed away at his home on Wednesday afternoon following a stroke which he had taken about twelve days previous. Mr. Bell was well known and esteemed in the community and deep regret is rexpressed at his passing. He was born at Balderson near Perth 73 years ago, and was a member of the Presbyterian church.
    Left to mourn his passing are his wife, the former Martha Moody; two daughters, Mrs. W. Saunders, Osgoode and Nellie at home; also four sons, Lorne of Perth; and Herbert, Cecil and Lloyd of North Gower township. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon from his late residence to the Presbyterian church at North Gower. Interment was in the Kars cemetery.

    Suddenly at home in North Gower, on Tuesday, December 8, 1981, Nellie Bell, beloved wife of Bert Bell. Predeceased by her first husband, James S. Lindsay. Dear sister of Herbert, Manotick; Cecil and Lloyd, Ottawa; predeceased by her brother Lorne, formerly of Perth, and her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Saunders, formerly of Smiths Falls. Resting Tubman-Cummings Funeral Home, North Gower, funeral service will be held Friday afternoon (time later). Interment Elmview Cemetery, Kars.
