Iona passed away peacefully at the West End Villa, Ottawa on Monday January 9th, 2023. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Robert Albert Farrell, her parents Robert and Lulu (Blackburn) Wood and her siblings Evelyn Wood, Earl Wood, Elaine Fournier, Arden, Lawrence, Lloyd, Eldon, Lemuel, Roy and Carl Wood.

She and Bob had a full life together. They loved entertaining, traveling and a good game of cards with family and friends. They are forever reunited for eternity.

Iona will be laid to rest beside Bob in Elmwood Cemetery.
