    On Saturday, Mrs. Matthew Reid of Clyde Forks, mother of Messrs. Walter and David Reid of this place was transformed from mortal to immortal. Deceased was a daughter of the late Matthew Baird of Lanark township and a cousin of Andrew Baird now reeve of that township. She was born on the 5th Concession of Lanark on May 24, 67 years ago. After her marriage, she resided on the 6th Concession Lanark until the death of her husband which occurred about five years ago when she went to live wither daughter Mrs. Robert Campbell of Clyde Forks. 18 or 19 yeas ago she was afflicted with cancer from which she suffered though at first but slightly until her death. For the last 16 weeks of her life she was confined to her bed and death was a welcome release from her afflictions. She leaves a family of nine?the three mentioned above and Alexander of Percy, Assa(?); Daniel, James and Peter of Rat Portage; Harry at Eganville; and John at Caldwell's Mills. The funeral took place on Monday morning from the residence of her daughter Mrs. Campbell to the Presbyterian Cemetery at Middleville. Era, Jan. 18

    Peter Hanover Reid, 1408 Lincoln Ave., died Sunday, while visiting his daughter, Mrs Robert Frost, at Geraldton, Ont.

    Born on September 18, 1870, at Middleville, Ont., Mr. Reid had resided in Winnipeg for many years.

    He is survived by his widow, Margaret E., four sons, Frank D., Peter T. and William A., all of Winnipeg; MeCready D., Toronto; six daughters, Mrs. R. McKnight, Mrs J. Wilson, Mrs. E Bowery and Mrs. B. Galbraith, all of Winnipeg; Mrs R. Frost, Geraldton, ONt, Mrs R. Grieve, Norrrie, Que, two brothers, James, Kenora, Ont., David, Carleton Place, Ont., 16 grandchildren.

    Funeral for the Late James Reid on Wednesday

    James Reid of 455, 3rd Street S. passsed away Monday, May 2nd in the St. Joseph Hospital. He was in his 80th year. Born at Middleville, Ont., Jan 1st, 1875 he was a carpenter in early life. He has been a resident of this district since 1896. His wife, Susan Wesley Cameron Reid predeceassed him on February 18th, 1942.

    He is survived by three sons and four daughters.

    Resting at teh Brown Funeral Home for service in the Chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 4th, Rev. W.T. Brady of Keewatin will officiate and burial will be in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Evan Campbell, Harry Hall, Don Peloquin, Bill Kerr, Jack Bodger and George Wilson.

    It is with sorrow that the family announce the passing of Roberta Wood of Geraldton in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of Clarence (Bud) Wood of Geraldton. Dear mother of Robert and his wife Angela of Geraldton, Ronald and his wife Mugsy of Thunder Bay and Randy and his wife Penny of Geraldton. She will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren. Loved sister of Ada Jean McCarthy and her husband Ed of Geraldton. Sister-in-law of Gene Wood and his wife Mavis of Thunder Bay. She will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Roberta was an active member of the Pioneer club. She enjoyed carpet bowling and loved to travel. There will be no funeral home visitation.A memorial graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 11th at 11 a.m. at Pinegrove Cemetery in Geraldton.     Died:
    Daniel Thomas Reid "Danny Duffy" of Waldron, Arkansas, formerly of Inglis, Florida, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2014 in Waldron, Arkansas, when he lost his battle with terminal cancer. Daniel was born April 21, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois to Wallace Reid and Pearl Ayers. Daniel was 64 years, 4 months and 20 days old.

    Daniel was married to his wife Sandra Reid for 45 years. She remained by his side faithfully until his last breath. He retired from the Sooline Railroad after 17 years and becamce a successful Seafood Wholesaler for 21 years. Daniel had a love of Dodge hot rods and loved to ride motorcycles. Anyone who knew him could tell you he loved to have an ice cold beer at the Mouse Trap Saloon Country Club. More than anything Daniel loved his family.

    Daniel is survived by his wife of the home, three sons, one daughter of Fort Edward, New York. Daniel will forever remain in the hearts of 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Daniel will missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

    Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Wallace Reid and his mother Pearl Duffy and step father, Thomas Duffy, two brothers, James Duffy and Steven Reid, one grandson, Christopher Baker and one granddaughter, Haley Baker.

    Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.

    He owned and operated Rhythm and Blues Trucking Clinton. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include his wife; daughters Michelle Brollier, North Salt Lake City and Alicia Koenig, Mesa, six grandchildren; and his father, Elmer "Al" Englehorn, Clinton.
