    Left Ontario about 1857 at age 24 (his father moved to Bruce County ON, Canada in 1860) and settled near town of Plainview, Wabash Cty, Minnesota. He was noted as resident of Minnesota, when his father moved to that state.

    After marriage to Catherine Weagant, he worked as a Blacksmith in Six Oaks, MN for two years. In 1859, he moved to Wabasha, MMN, and opened Blacksmith shop and worked at this trade for most of his life.

    Change the spelling of Munro to Munroe by official process shortly after moving to Minnesota.
