    The funeral service for Mr. Clinton Campbell was conducted by Reverend Judith Hare, Tuesday, July 27, 1993, at the Paul Funeral Home Chapel, Powassan.
    Mr. Campbell died at LeisureWorld, North Bay, on Sunday, July 25, 1993, in his 82nd year.
    Clinton Campbell, beloved son of the late Ruby (Barber) and Albert Campbell. Dear brother of Lloyd (wife Adelaide), Sudbury, James (wife Ruth), North Bay, John "Dinty" (wife Betty), Toronto, Blanche McLachlan (husband the late Bernie), North Bay, Dorothy Adamson (husband the late Jack), Toronto, June Campbell, Toronto, Jean Good (husband the late George), Guelph, the late Evelyn Bartraw (husband Elwood), Powassan, the late Joan Campbell.
    Clinton was the first child born for Ruby and Albert on the Campbell farm. He grew up farming and stayed on to help his parents run the farm until they retired. In the early years Clinton enjoyted playing the guitar and mandolin at dances on the Brule. He liked animals and the great outdoors. When he was younger Clinton liked to hunt and play baseball. He loved his nieces and nephews and they all knew he had a big heart.
    Casket bearers were Jim bearers were Jim Bartraw, Bill Bartraw, Gary Meehan, Jim Barber, Mark Barber and George Good. Interment was in Nipissing Cemetery, Nipissing, Ontario.

    Evelyn Vivian Bartraw
    Funeral services were conducted for the late Evelyn Bartraaw, July 20, 1987 at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan. A favorite song of Evelyn's "Run for the Roses", was sung by her grandson, Tom Joron. Rev. Vic Brown officiated and the interment was at the Powasssan Union Cemetery.
    As would be her pleasure, Evelyn's grandsons Tom and David Joron, sheldon and Scott Samuels, Danny and Trevor Bartraw carried the casket, while her granddaughters Debbie Piper, Jo Ann Rick, Lori Samuels, Christine, Penny and Melanie Bartraw preceded the casket bearing flowers.
    Evelyn was born to Albert and Ruby Campbell in Nipissing Township on September 13, 1912. She was the seconc eldest in a family of eleven. she worked very hard and took on many family responsibilities over the years. In 1937 she married Elwood Bartraw and they farmed in south Himsworth for many uears where they raised four children. she and Elwood later retired in the town of Powassan.
    Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her husband Elwood, her children, Lois and Hector Joron, Bill and Carol Bartraw, Jim and Sharon Bartraw, Sharon and Victor (deceasded) Samuels, her twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    She was a dear sister to Clinton, Lloyd, Dinty, Jim, June and Joan Campbell and Blanche McLachlan, Elsie Meehan, Dorothy Adamson and Jean good.
    Evelyn was a person of true devotion to her husband, her family and her friends. She had a wonderful way with people and a particular affinity to children who lived her in the same way. We must console ourselves, that we were so fortunate to have been a part of her life. she has touched so many in so many ways, words cannot express how we will miss her. May Evelyn find peace with God - that wonderful peace that she brought so many times to all of us.

    Jim Campbell died peacefully at Cassellholme Home for the Aged, North Bay, on Wednesday, April 1, 2009. He was in his 87th year. Jim was predeceased by his wife Ruth (nee Quigley) (1926 -2006). He was the beloved father of Glen Campbell (Susan) of North Bay and grandfather of Greg and Lisa Campbell. Jim was the dear brother of Blanche McLaughlan of Oakville, Dorothy Adamson of Toronto, Jean Campbell of Guelph and the late Elsie Meehan, Evelyn Bartraw, Clinton, Lloyd, John, June and Joan Campbell.
    Jim was born July 31, 1922 in Nipissing Township. He was one of 11 children of Ruby Ann (Barber) and Albert Campbell. He married Ruth Quigley on September 15, 1951 and they made their home in North Bay and had one son, Glen.
    Jim worked as a Carman with the Canadian Pacific Railway. Throughout his adult life Jim was active playing baseball in the summer and hockey in the winter. He was part of the South Shore Hockey League. He also enjoyed partridge hunting and ice fishing and taking long walks in the evenings. After 43 years, Jim retired from the CPR and he and Ruth moved to Callander until failing health necessitated their move to the Emmanuel Apartments. Ruth died in 2006 and Jim moved into Cassellholme in June of 2008.
    The funeral service for Mr. Campbell was officiated by Pastor Carole Dobbs at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Sunday, April 5, 2009. Casket bearers were Greg Campbell, George Good, Jim Bartraw and Denis McLachlan. Interment at Powassan Union Cemetery will take place later in spring. Following the service, the Campbell family welcomed friends and relatives for a time of fellowship and a luncheon in the Paul Funeral Home reception room.
