    Last Rites For Howard Halliday
    Howard Halliday died in the Didsbury hospital on Friday, Nov. 22nd, after a lengthy illness. He was 48 years of age.
    Born in Milton, N.D., he moved to Crossfield in 1914 and to Didsbury in 1930, where he operated a grocery store. He was a member of the Evangelical church here, a past district governor of the Lions, and chancellor of Lions International. He was also a member of the King Hiram Lodge, A.F. & A.M., No. 21, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Al Azhar Shrine Temple and the Drum and Bugle Corps.
    He is survived by his wife, Orpha, of Didsbury, and one daughter, Patricia, who is attending the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
