Glennis G. Pollock, 83, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2019. Born in Glen Levit, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Adams) Pollock.
Glennis was retired from the Federal Government (Employment Insurance) with 24 years' service and from NB Telephone with 18 years' service. She was a member of the former Wesley United Church. She enjoyed watching curling and soap operas, doing crafts, knitting, playing darts and keeping up with the most recent news.
Glennis will be sadly missed by her daughter, Barbi?Rae Pollock (Terry Eldridge) of Moncton; grandson, Justin Grady; Justin's dad, Daniel Grady; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, Glennis was predeceased by sisters, Frances Smith, Doris Firth and Bertha Adams and brothers, Whitney, Reggie, Ronnie, Beverly and Denzil.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858?1995) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Glennis' life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Flat Lands Cemetery at a later date.
