    BARKER, William J (Bill) - Suddenly at Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospitals (Smiths Falls Site) on Saturday April 24, 2010. Bill Barker of Narrows Lock Road, Portland in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the Late Marion Hutchings. Dear Father of Linda (Herb) Carr, Harry (Linda) Barker all of Narrows Lock Road. Dear Brother of Ron (Marion) Barker of Westport. Predeceased by brother, Arthur Barker. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Scott (Caroline) Carr of Los Angeles, California, Dana (Brian) Karnis of Carleton Place, Nicole (Scott) Halladay of RR# 1 Portland, Terri Billingham of Newboro. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Michaela, Taylor, Nicholas and Jordon as well as two nephews, Ron of BC, and Hugh (Inga) of Prescott. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Newboro on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Newboro. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Portland Athletic Recreation Committee (PARC) for the U16 Girls Football Club or the Rideau Lakes Day Camp would be appreciated by the family.

    Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital-Charles Street Site on Sunday August 30, 2015. Ronald Barker of Westport, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Bresee. Dear Father of Ronald Arthur of B.C. and Hugh of Prescott. Predeceased by brother, Bill Barker. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Jeff, Carly, Joe, Tiffany, Lisa, Ashley and Amy as well as great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Montana, Londyn, Ryan and Jake. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Newboro on Wednesday morning at 11:30. Interment St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Newboro.
