McPherson, 88, longtime San-i dusky merchant and a member of the Board of Directors of the! State Bank of Sandusky, died Friday in Dpctors Hospital, Sandusky, after a long illness. HE WAS borrr June 17, 1865, in Gananoque, Ont., coming to Michigan with his parents in 1875 where the family began farming in Washington Township. He married Miss Effie J. English, Aug. .27, 1890, in Carsonville.
She died the following year. He later married Miss Elizabeth A. Hillock, March 15. 1893. in Port Huron.
She died Feb. 12, 1942. (served as an active member of the Board of Directors until failing health caused him to step down from active membership on the board. He was a life member of Custer lodge. No.
