  	This is the closest possibility to the date on her memorial stone in Lambton County. However I am not sure this is correct. a. We have no proof that Catherine was from Scotland b. If she arrived in Canada before marrying, who were her parents, or, c. Was Slater a married name and she was widowed? I can find no Slater among the Scottish settlers of 1820-1821, or among the early land holders of the area.
