  	Dorothy Lois Stratton was born April 3, 1925 at Minneapolis, the daughter of Levi and Opal Plunkett Comfort. She passed away Friday, March 29, 1991 at her farm home northwest of Minneapolis at the age of 65 years 11 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Leland B. Stratton on Feb. 3, 1951 at Las Vegas, NV. They farmed and had operated the Ottawa County Landfill for the past 16 years. Dorothy loved animals and held state and federal licenses to care for sick and injured wildlife. Dorothy was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the VFW Auxiliary, all of Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her first husband Charles Deaver, who died in World War II and an infant son.
