COMFORT DELPHOS - The funeral for Harold Thayne "Buck" Comfort, 54, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Delphos Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Sharon Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Delphos Cemetery. Mr. Comfort died Saturday at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born July 22, 1927, near Oak Hill in Ottawa County. Mr. Comfort, a truck driver, was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a former Delphos City councilman. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Lillian, Delphos; two sons, Bill, Littleton, Colo., and Rick, Downs; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Vaughn, 938 Lewis, Salina; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Cooper, Wells; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Comfort, Miltonvale, and five grandchildren. Friends may call Monday at Phelps Funeral Home, Miltonvale.
